Boiler blast kills one

One worker was killed and three others were injured when a boiler of a rice husking mill at Khoyapukur Bazar area under Pirob union under Shibganj upazila of the district exploded at around 7:00am yesterday.The deceased was identified as Jibonessa, 45.The injured are Nurul Islam, 26, Sajeda Begum, 23, and Shariful Islam, 25, of the same area. They were taken to the upazila health complex for treatment, police said. Contacted, Kamruzzaman Mia, inspector (Inquiry) of Shibganj Police Station, said an unnatural death case was lodged with the police station in the afternoon.
