Body of newborn found in carton

Police recovered the body of a newborn from a carton in Keshabpur upazila of Jessore district yesterday.  Sahidul Islam Sahid, officer-in-charge of Keshabpur Police Station, said locals found the body stashed in a paper carton kept at a place near the Muslim Hotel adjacent to the PS in the morning and informed the police. Later, the law enforcers recovered the body, said the OC.
