Star Online Report

Flight operations were disrupted at Chattogram's Shah Amanat International Airport this morning due to heavy fog.

A Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Dubai landed at Sylhet's MAG Osmani International Airport instead of Chattogram airport after it was diverted due to dense fog, our Chattogram correspondent reports.

The flight carrying 200 passengers was scheduled to land at Chattogram airport at 8:30am, said Manager of Shah Amanat International Airport Squadron Leader SarwarAlam.

After the sky became clear, the flight landed at Chattogram airport around 11am, he said.

Besides, three flights of US-Bangla, Regent Airways and Biman reached the airport around two hours after schedule time.

But now the flight operations are normal, he added.
