BAU student stabbed

A student of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) was stabbed by drug addicts on the campus in the district on Friday. The injured is Rezwan Hasan Rashik, 20, a 3rd year student of Food Engineering and Rural Development Department of the university. He was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Prof Md Zakir Hossain, proctor of the university, said Rashik was on his way to his hall on the campus around 7:30pm. When he reached Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Energy (BINA) area, two drug addicts waylaid Rashik and demanded money from him, said the proctor. On refusal, they stabbed him, leaving him injured. Police arrested four people in this connection.
