BASIC Bank DMD Monayem sacked

State-owned BASIC Bank's Deputy Managing Director A Monayem Khan was sacked today over the bank's loan scam.

He has been dismissed after completion of all due process, Alauddin A Majid, Chairman of the BASIC Bank told The Daily Star.

So far eight others including four deputy managing directors have been dismissed from their jobs over the loan scam.
