Auto-rickshaw driver murdered

Police recovered the body of an auto-rickshaw driver from Bejora Jamtola area in Shajahanpur upazila of the district yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Mehebul Islam, 25, son of Abdur Rahman of Malgram Collegepara in the district town. The body was sent to a hospital morgue for autopsy. A gang strangled Mehebul and dumped the body in the area, said police. The victim's father said criminals killed him to take away his auto-rickshaw.
