Arms trader held with 3,300 bullets

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested an arms trader with 3,300 bullets from Benapole-Gatipara road at Gatipara village under Benapole Port Police Station on Friday night.

Subedar Gias Uddin, in-charge of Benapole BGB camp, said the border guards, acting on a tip-off, conducted a drive at the village at around 10:30pm and arrested Azizul Islam, 21. They seized 3,300 bullets from his possession.
