6 held with petrol bombs

Police arrested six alleged criminals along with four petrol bombs from Bharatkhalia village in Saghata upazila on Tuesday. The arrestees are Jahangir Alam Shahin, Sharif Alam, Abu Sayed, Faruk Hossain, Jalil Mia and Khaja Mia of the village. Police said Shahin and his men went to a farmland of one of his neighbours in a bid to grab the land. Hearing the news, villagers stepped in, gave them a hot chase and confined them to a room at Shahin's house. Being informed, police arrested the six and recovered four petrol bombs from the house, said Mosharraf Hossain, Gaibandha additional superintendent of police.
