3 motorcycle lifters held

Police arrested three alleged members of an inter-district motorcycle lifters' gang from Borhanuddin Bhuiya Road in Laxmipur town early yesterday. The arrestees are Antar Chandra Shil, son of Gobinda Shil of Samserabad, Ripon, son of Sirajuddin of Sakharipara, and Sohag, son of Nurul Islam of Banchanagar village of the town. On secret information, law enforcers raided a house in the area, arrested the trio and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession. Police said the three were also wanted in several cases filed with Sadar Police Station.
