3 killed in Sirajganj road accident

Three people were killed today in a road accident at Hailghati area under Shahjadpur upazila of Sirajganj.

The deceased were Shakib (17), Rashedul Islam (26), both from Shahjadpur municipal area and auto-rickshaw driver Ashiq (20) of Shaktipur area, said police.

The accident occurred when a truck hit a CNG-run auto rickshaw from behind at a gas pump leaving the three dead on the spot, said locals and Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge Shahjahan Ali.
