3 killed in Mymensingh road crash

Three people, including a woman, were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a human hauler at Gachtola area on Mymensingh-Netrokona road in Tarakanda upazila of Mymensingh this morning.

Two of the deceased were identified as Marzina Khatun, 35, and Fakhruddin, 42, reports our Mymensingh correspondent quoting Mazharul Hoque, officer-in-charge of Tarakanda Police Station.

The speedy truck collided with the human hauler in the area around 7:30am, leaving two passengers of the three-wheeler dead on the spot and four others injured, said the OC.

The injured were taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital where the driver of the three-wheeler was declared dead by the duty doctor, the OC added.
