3 Kali idols vandalised, ornaments looted at Pabna temple

Criminals have vandalised three idols of Hindu Goddess Kali and looted ornaments from a temple Sujanagar upazila of Pabna.

Temple committee members found the three idols damaged at Ahmedpur Baroari Kali Mondir yesterday morning and informed police, said Md Mozammel Haque, officer-in-charge of Aminpur Police Station under Sujanagar, today.

The criminals also looted ornaments from the idols, our Pabna correspondent reports, quoting the police official.

Dilip Chandra Sutrodhar, president of the temple committee, filed a case accusing unidentified people last night in this connection, the OC said.

Police are investigating the incident, added OC Mozammel.
