3 drug peddlers arrested

Police arrested three alleged drug addicts at Saghata Bazar in the district on Monday. The arrestees are Mominuddin, 28, Motiur Rahman, 26, of Saghata upazila, and Mahbub, 28, of Moksudpur upazila. Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in the area and arrested the three. They were later produced before a court, led by Executive Magistrate Shafiuzzaman Bhyian, which sentenced them to different jail terms, said police.
