2 held with fake notes

Police arrested two men with fake notes of Tk 85,000 from a clothes store at Nachnapara Bazar in Pathorghata upazila of the district on Monday. The arrestees are Md Sahid, 38, of Mothbaria upazila, and Faruq Sikder, 42, of the upazila. Police said the two gave a note of Tk 1,000 after buying clothes from the store. On suspicion, the shopkeeper informed the police. Later, the law enforcers recovered more fake notes of Tk 84,000 after searching their bodies and arrested them, said police.
