2 bodies found

Police recovered the body of a day labourer from Bathulee village in Delduar upazila of the district yesterday.

The deceased, Shaktiranjan Mondal, 50, was a resident of the village.

Quoting victim's daughter Mukta Begum, police said Shaktiranjan went missing while he was on his way home from Tangail town on Friday.

Villagers spotted his body at a field near his house in the morning and informed the police, OC Mosharraf Hossain of Delduar Police Station said.

Away in Naogaon, Jahurul Islam, 35, a rickshaw-puller, was found dead at Bankan village in Atrai upazila yesterday, reports our Chapainawabganj correspondent.
