15kg sulphur seized in Joypurhat

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized sulphur weighing 15kilograms in Panchbibi upazila of Joypurhat district on Monday night.

BGB officials said a BGB team raided a passenger bus on suspicion in Atapara area in the upazila at around 9.30pm. During the search, they found the sulphur under a rear seat of the bus. A criminal might have brought it into Bangladesh from India.
