Sylhet-3 MP Mahmud Samad dies of Covid-19

Mahmud Us Samad Chowdhury, lawmaker from Sylhet-3 constituency, died with coronavirus infection at the United Hospital in Dhaka this afternoon.

The lawmaker breathed his last around 2:00pm, Mahmud's personal secretary Julhas Ahmed confirmed to The Daily Star.

He was undergoing treatment at the hospital since Sunday.

On February 10, the MP received his first dose of coronavirus vaccine.
