BNP’s Rizvi hospitalised with Covid-19

BNP's Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi was admitted to Square Hospital in Dhaka with Covid-19 infection this morning.

The BNP leader was taken to the hospital around 9:30am with high fever and cough, his personal assistant Arifur Rahman Tushar told UNB.

He said Rizvi tested positive for coronavirus yesterday and then went into self-isolation at his Mohammadpur house.

Rizvi has been suffering from fever and slight cough for the last a few days, Tushar said, adding that he was admitted to the hospital after his condition worsened.
