California Property: Saad Musa Group MD faces arrest

A Chittagong court yesterday issued an arrest warrant against Saad Musa Group Managing Director Md Mohsin in a case filed for concealing information in his wealth statement about his property in California.

The National Board of Revenue lodged the case.

According to the case statement, on September 12, 2012, Mohsin bought a land with various establishments at the cost of Tk 5.22 crore in California.

But he concealed information about this property and hence evaded taxes, which is a punishable crime pursuant to the Income Tax ordinance, added the statement.
