Youth dies as train hits him

An unidentified youth was crushed under the wheels of a train at Bghmara Level Crossing of Mymensingh Sadar yesterday noon.

Quoting locals, police said the youth, aged about 25, was walking across the rail track with earphones plugged in his ears. As a result he did not hear the whistle of the Mymensingh-bound train, Mahua Express.

The body was sent to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
