Worker dies after falling from ship's crane at Ctg Port

A worker died allegedly after falling from a crane, which is about 15 feet tall, of a ship at the outer anchorage of Chittagong Port yesterday.

Md Sohel, 18, son of Ruhul Amin of Bhola's Jahanpur, was unloading goods from the vessel MV Ultra Lesan when a iron rope of the vessel hit him and he fell on the deck, said Patenga police quoting other labourers. Sohel was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
