Two fatally hit by trains

Two people were crushed under the wheels of trains in Nilphamari and Dinajpur in last two days.

Our Nilphamari correspondent reports, an unidentified middle-aged woman died after Rupsha Express ran her over while she was walking along the rail track near Saidpur Railway Station area around 7:00pm on Thursday.

Our Dinajpur correspondent adds, a man was crushed under Dolanchapa, a Dhaka-bound intercity train, in Monmathapur village of Parbatipur upazila around 6:00am yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Md Ripon, 32, son of Mozammel Hossain of Harirampur village under Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur.
