Tangail road crash kills 4

Four people were killed and three others injured when a bus collided head-on with a leguna on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Charpara area of Mirzapur upazila in Tangail yesterday.

The deceased were leguna driver Dilip Kumar, 48, of Andhara village, and its passengers Sajal Miah, 20, of Shovulla village, Haradhan Sarkar, 32, of Sarishadair village and Shimul Miah, 22, of Charpara village.

Following the incident several-mile long tailback was created on the highway.  Vehicular movement got normal after one hour.

Meanwhile in Bogra, Mozammel Hossian Mozam, 55, of Hegulan village was killed when a truck hit him while he was crossing the Bogra-Noagaon road at Kazipara in Kahaloo upazila.
