Security forces in Dhaka airport recover 1,415 pieces of yaba from Saudi-bound passenger

Security forces at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport yesterday recovered 1,415 pieces of yaba from a Saudi-bound passenger.
Members of Aviation Security (AVSEC) recovered the yaba pills while searching the bag of Touhid Alam, a passenger of Saudi Arabian Airlines, at around 7:20pm yesterday, Group Captain AHM Touhid-ul Ahsan, director, HSIA said in a video message.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. He also said the yaba was hidden, before being found and it was handed over to the Department of Narcotics Control for taking legal action.
Earlier on Monday, a passenger named Rakib Hossain was detained by the HSIA armed police while he was on his way to Saudi Arabia with 10,000 pieces of yaba.
