Savar road accident kills two

A Taxi cab driver and a passenger of the vehicle were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Moragang area of Ashulia, outside the capital, yesterday.

The deceased were taxi driver Mofizul Islam Sumon, 30, and passenger Abdul Mozid Akhand, 70.

Selim Reza, sub-inspector of Ashulia Police Station, said locals found the bodies in the taxi which was found in a roadside ditch. But how the accidents took place could not be known.b
