Road crashes kill two

Two people were killed and 25 others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and on Wednesday.

In Bogra, trucker Anower Hossain, 35, of Sherua Bottola was killed and 15 people were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a bus on Bogra-Dhaka highway in Fotkir Bridge area of Shajahanpur upazila on Wednesday.

In Jhenidah, 10 people were injured when a human-hauler collided head-on with a truck on Shailokupa-Garaganj road in Habibpur village under Shailokupa upazila yesterday.

In Chapainawabganj, Mamun Ali, 32, of Nayalabhanga was killed when a truck rammed his motorcycle at Boiltala on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid land port highway in Shibaganj upazila on Wednesday night.
