Road crashes kill three

Three people were killed and 26 others injured in road accidents in two districts yesterday and Monday.

In Bogra, Touhidul Islam, 52, of Vandar Paikar village was killed as a bus rammed his motorcycle at Bonani intersection on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Shajahanpur upazila yesterday.

Meanwhile in Bogra Sadar, Badiuzzaman, 55, of Gaibandha was killed and 26 people were injured when a bus skidded off the highway in Matidali area yesterday.

In Pirojpur, Rezaul Islam of Bowdubi village was killed when a bus hit him near Pirojpur Bypass road on Monday. Rezaul was the joint convenor of JCD Pirojpur district unit.
