Road crashes kill one, injure five

A boy was killed as a jeep of Chatkhil Upazila Nirbahi Officer ran him over while he was playing in front of the officer's residence in the upazila of Noakhali yesterday.

The deceased was Md Ninad, 10, son of Md Selim of Sundarpur village.

In Dinajpur, five people were injured when two trucks collided head-on in Bejailmor area on Dinajpur-Bogra Highway of Phulbari upazila.
