Road crashes kill four, hurt eleven

Four people were killed and 11 others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and on Sunday.

In Gazipur, three people were killed and four others injured when two trucks collided head-on on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Mawna area of Sreepur upazila on Sunday night.

Two of the deceased were truck driver Yakub Ali, 48, of Tangail and Ziaur Rahman Roni, 32, of Chuadanga Sadar.

In Dinajpur, Al Amin, 6, son of Md Babu was killed when a truck hit him while he was playing on the road in front of his house in Puro Rajkanda village of Akkelpur upazila in Joypurhat on Sunday.

In Dinajpur, seven people were injured as a bus hit the roadside trees after it skidded off the Dinajpur-Bogra highway in Shimultoli village.
