Road crashes kill four
Four people were killed and 13 others injured in road accidents in the country yesterday.
Our Dinajpur correspondent reports, two persons were killed and eight others injured when an overcrowded shallow engine-run three-wheeler fell into a roadside ditch at Khorikata in Khetlal upazila of Joypurhat.
The dead were Achhim Uddin, 55, and his uncle Toffazzal Hossain, 65, of Aflapara village in Khetlal upazila.
Our Benapole correspondent reports, Ohidul Islam, 55, rokon of Jamaat's Chougachha upazila unit, died yesterday, a day after a motorbike hit him in the upazila of Jessore.
Our Munshiganj correspondent adds, a person was killed and five others were injured as a car collided head-on with a truck at Boushia Pakhi Point of Gazaria upazila.
The deceased was the car driver, Md Rakibul Molla, 30.
