Road crashes kill four

Four people were killed and three others injured in road accidents in four districts yesterday.

In Joypurhat, Abdul Mozid, 70, of Dandapani village was killed when a three-wheeler hit him as the driver lost control over the vehicle near Mirgram.

Three passengers of the vehicles were also injured.

In Dinajpur, Bhupendranath Roy, 55, of Ruhigaon village was killed when a three-wheeler hit his motorcycle on Bochaganj-Pirganj road in Daulatpur village of Bochaganj.

In Jhenidah, Hritik Mondol, 5, son of Shashangko Mondol of Krishnapur village was killed when a bus hit him while he was crossing the Jhenidah-Magura highway in Krishnapur area of Shalikha upazila.

In Mymensingh, Sadia Sultana, 8, daughter of Sheikh Sadi, was killed when a bus ran her over while she was crossing the road at Phulbaria upazila headquarters.
