Road crashes kill 4, hurt 2

Four people were killed and two others injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday and on Wednesday.

In Bogra, two people were killed and two others injured when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a microbus on Bogra-Noagaon road in Dalomba area of Adamdighi upazila on Wednesday.

The deceased were Rima Khatun, 18, of Noagaon and Rahat Hossain, 22, of Prannath village in Bogra.

In Chittagong, Saiful Islam, 33, of Mirsharai upazila was killed when a newspaper-laden microbus turned turtle after one of its wheels got punctured on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Mosjidda area of Sitakunda upazila yesterday.

In Dinajpur, Nur Islam, 40, of Pathanpara village was killed when a truck hit him on Dinajpur-Thakurgaon highway in Birganj upazila on Wednesday night.
