Road crashes kill 3, injure 3

Three people were killed and three others injured in road crashes in two districts yesterday.

In Bagerhat, two people were killed and three others injured as two motorcycles collided head-on on Bagerhat-Morelganj road in Dona area of Morelganj.

The deceased were Hafuzur Rahman Molla, 35, of Amtola village and Chinmoy Halder, 40, of Pirojpur.

In Munshiganj, an unidentified person was killed as a bus ran him over on Dhaka-Mawa Highway in Chaltipara area of Shirajdikhan.

In Savar, an on-duty traffic constable, who was injured a bus hit him at Aminbazar Bus Stand on December 2, died on Monday at Enam Medical College Hospital.

The deceased was Abdul Kayum Miah, 58, of Manikganj.
