Road crashes kill 3, injure 23

Two people were killed and 18 others injured as two buses collided head-on in Bailyachhari area of Guimara upazila in Khagrachhari yesterday.

The deceased were bus driver Shirajul Islam, 28, and his helper Kabir Hossaion, 24, of Taindong area of Matiranga upazila of the district.

Meanwhile in Noakhali, Md Yousuf, 65, of Chandrasudhi village was killed and five others were injured when his motorcycle collided head-on with a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Basurhat-Kabirhat road in Kabirhat upazila.
