Road crashes kill 3, injure 1

Three people were killed and another was injured in road accidents in three districts yesterday.

In Barisal, an unidentified man, aged around 60, was killed and another person injured when a BRTC bus ran them over on Dhaka-Barisal Highway in Mahilara area of Gournadi upazila.

In Dinajpur, Alim Uddin, 22, of Proshadpurbaganpara village was killed when a truck hit him after he got down from another bus in Rangamati area of Phulbari upazila.

In Bogra, Abdul Kaium, 56, of Bagrachotpara was killed when a bus hit his motorcycle on Bogra-Dhaka highway at Sherpur municipality.

He was the president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) upazila unit committee.
