Road crashes kill 2, injure 16

A bus driver was killed and 16 passengers were injured when the bus fell into a ditch as the driver lost control over the vehicle at Mehrabari on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh yesterday.

The deceased was Babu Miah, 28, of Sherpur.

Meanwhile in Jhenidah Sadar, Anik Ahmed, 22, of Charkhazura village was killed when a bus ran him over in front of Jhenidah Cadet College beside Kushtia-Jhenidah highway.
