Road crashes kill 2, injure 14

A motorcyclist was killed when a truck hit his vehicle in Uttar Kattoli area of Chittagong city yesterday.
The deceased Ashraful Alam, 35, of Sirajganj was an NGO employee in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong.
Meanwhile in Barisal, Wahidul Islam, 40, of Jhalakathi was killed and 14 of his relatives were injured when a truck carrying them fell into a roadside ditch in Madina Masjid area of Gournadi upazila.
They were taking a body to Jhalakathi from Dhaka for burial, said police.
