Road crashes kill 2, injure 11

A person was killed and 11 others were injured when a bus hit them after the driver lost control over the vehicle at Charkhali Ferry Terminal in Bhandaria upazila of Pirojpur yesterday.

The deceased Abdul Hamid Munshi, 67, of Lakkhipura village was the president of Bhandaria upazila unit Krishok League.

In Mymensingh, Maleka Khatun, 70, of Bhaluka municipality was killed when a bus ran her over while she was crossing the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Kathalia area of Bhaluka upazila.
