Road crash kills 3

Three people were killed when a bus rammed a bicycle on Rangpur-Dhaka highway at Darshana intersection in Rangpur city yesterday.

The deceased were Shariful Islam, 13, son of Abdul Momin of Darshana area, his brother Abdus Salam, 7, and his cousin Sumaiya, 6, daughter of Shafiqul Islam of Kurigram. Following the accident, locals blocked the highway for two hours and demanded a foot over-bridge and a speed breaker at the spot.
