Raid going on at Sirajul Islam Medical College

A joint taskforce led by executive magistrate Sarwoer Alam is conducting a raid at Dr Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital in Dhaka's Mouchak area over various allegations.

Representative of Director General of Health Services and a team of Rab-3 jointly started the drive around 12:30pm at the hospital. The taskforce so far found date-expired reagent being used for different tests, said a Rab official.

Drive is still continuing. Details of the drive will be given after it ends, he said.

Lt Col Rakibul Hasan, commanding officer of Rab-3, said the DGHS is basically checking different allegations of irregularities and Rab is just assisting them.
