Once again man held at Dhaka airport smuggling gold in rectum

Customs Intelligence (CI) last evening detained a person with gold bars weighing over one kilogramme inside his body at the capital's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The gold in three packets was pushed through the rectum of Roman Talukder of Comilla who arrived at the airport from Kuala Lumpur, CI Assistant Director Mohammad Zakaria told The Daily Star, citing an X-ray report.

To seize the gold bars, Talukder will be taken to a hospital for a surgery, if necessary, he said.
