Obituary

Md Mofizul Islam, an agriculturist, passed away at the capital's United Hospital on Sunday afternoon. He was 71.

He was a consultant at International Fertiliser Development Centre. He pioneered the use of granular urea in the country. A doa mahfil will be held at his Mirpur DOHS residence after Asr prayers tomorrow, seeking divine blessings for the departed soul.
