Nur Hossain's aide remanded
A Narayanganj court yesterday granted a seven-day remand for Raham Ali, an accomplice of Nur Hossain, the prime accused of the sensational seven-murder in the district.
The order came after detectives produced Raham before the court and sought a 10-day remand for him.
Meanwhile, a charge sheet in the case will be submitted soon as the investigation is at the final stage, Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Hoque told a programme in Narayanganj.
Narayanganj city panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his driver and three associates, and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker and his driver were found dead in the river Shitalakkhya a few days after they were abducted separately on April 27, 2014.
