Mosharraf freed from jail in graft case

Senior BNP leader Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain was released from jail yesterday after around two years as the Supreme Court upheld his bail order in a money laundering case filed in 2014.

On Sunday, the Supreme Court upheld a High Court order that granted bail to the BNP leader.

After coming out of the jail Mosharraf, also a BNP standing committee member, told journalists that though he was not involved in any offence he faced one year and 10 months' imprisonment and the government did him an injustice.
