Man gets death for killing co-worker in Gazipur

A Gazipur court yesterday sentenced a man to death for killing his co-worker in Kaliajoir upazila of Gazipur in 2011.

The convict Abdul Halim, 26, of Bogra was also fined Tk 10,000.

Court sources said Halim killed Masud Mia, 16, over personal grudges on March 16, 2011. Police recovered Masud's body from his workplace Hanif Spinning Mill.

Victim's father said Halim also used to stay at their rented house in Mouchak area of the upazila.
