Man dies in Karnaphuli River boat capsizal

A man died as a boat capsized in the Karnaphuli River in Chittagong port area yesterday afternoon.

The deceased Nurul Alam, 55, was a staff of Kandari-7, a tugboat used for pulling ships into the port.

Quoting eyewitnesses, Nazmul Alam, deputy conservator of the Chittagong Port Authority, said Nurul was working on a small boat with five coworkers when the boat suddenly capsized when all of them moved to a corner of the boat.
