Man dies after being hit by car

A man died and another was injured after a car abruptly hit a roadside tea stall in the capital's Shanir Akhra area yesterday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Tofazzal Hossain Malo, 60, a CNG-run three-wheeler trader.

Injured Jasim Uddin was admitted at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The car caught on fire from a technical glitch following the accident, said Monir Uddin, sub-inspector of Jatrabari Police Station.
