Man allegedly stabbed to death by 3 sons in Dhaka’s Bosila
A man was stabbed to death allegedly by his three sons in Dhaka's Bosila area this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Lal Mia, 45.
The incident happened around 2:00pm at his three-storey building.
The victim's younger brother Shahar Ali said his brother lived on the first floor of the building while his sons live in other flats.
Following a family dispute six months back, Lal Mia divorced his wife, and she lives with her sons.
The three sons -- Jahirul, Sajjadul and Milton -- entered Lal Mia's flat and stabbed him indiscriminately while their mother stood guard at the door, Shahar, who lives in a nearby building, claimed.
After hearing screams, Shahar went inside and saw his brother in a pool of blood.
Lal Mia was taken to a nearby hospital first and then rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared him dead around 3:30pm.
Bachchu Mia, in-charge (inspector) of the DMCH police outpost, said the body was kept in the morgue for autopsy.
Hazaribagh Police said several teams went to the spot and hospital to know the details and arrest the killers.
