JP to back Bahauddin, Saifuddin

Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad yesterday announced that the party will be backing prospective mayoral candidates Bahauddin Ahmed Babul and Hazi Saifuddin Ahmed Milon in the Dhaka north and south city corporation elections respectively.
Babul is the party's Dhaka north unit general secretary while Saifuddin a presidium member.
The special envoy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was addressing a joint meeting of the party's north and south units of Dhaka city at his Banani office in the capital.
