Invest in all sectors for mutual benefit

British-Bangladeshi entrepreneurs' delegation urged by the president at Bangabhaban

Appreciating the political stability and investment-friendly atmosphere in Bangladesh, a group of British Bangladeshi entrepreneurs has expressed eagerness to be partners of Bangladesh's development and advancement.

A delegation of British Bangladeshi entrepreneurs, led by Chairman of Desh Foundation of the UK Mishbaur Rahman, said it while making a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the capital yesterday.

During the meeting, the delegation said they are interested to invest here in many sectors especially in tourism and ICT, President's Press Secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.

They requested the President to take steps for decentralisation of investment-related services so that the investors can take services easily.

Abdul Hamid said the present government is very cordial to extend all possible benefits to the investors and urged the delegation to utilise the investment potentials of the country.

Mentioning that the government has taken steps for the development of infrastructure, President Hamid advised the delegation to invest in all potentials sectors for mutual benefits.
